Ammonium sulfate is used as an inorganic fertilizer. This substance has low toxicity and is safe for soil, plants and humans. It differs favorably from other nitrogen-based fertilizers by the presence of sulfur, which is also necessary for the normal development of various crops.
Application:
Highly effective mineral nitrogen fertilizer. Intended for use as a fertilizer for all vegetable and fruit crops.
- increasing soil fertility, especially for plants that are demanding on sulfur content: buckwheat, many cruciferous crops, sunflower, corn, etc.;
- introducing the ammonium form of nitrogen for the normal formation of root crops and tubers (potatoes, beets);
- creating a slightly acidic environment, including for carrots, tomatoes, melons, gooseberries, raspberries.
The addition of ammonium sulfate accelerates the ripening of fruits and qualitatively affects their shape and size. Promotes the growth of green mass, improves the taste of the crop. The fertilizer comes in the form of crystals, which need to be dissolved in water before use.
Despite the relatively low price, the substance has proven effectiveness, therefore it is used both in private gardens and in industrial agriculture.
