Description
Cutting fluid Prista AB (20l): mineral-based cutting fluid
Cutting fluid Prista AB – is a mineral-based liquid that, when mixed with water, forms a milky white mixture and is used for lubrication and cooling.
Cutting fluid is produced from refined paraffinic and naphthenic base oils in combination with an additive package. This composition provides high lubricating and antimicrobial characteristics of the product, emulsion stability, as well as excellent protection of tools and workpieces from corrosion and wear.
Prista AB cutting fluid is used to create a 5% water emulsion used in the machining of ferrous metals by planing, milling, drilling, grinding, threading, broaching and gear cutting. In some cases it can be used when processing non-ferrous metals.
Advantages of cutting fluid
- cutting fluid provides optimal cooling and lubrication of cutting tools
- best corrosion protection
- ensures the “durability” of the emulsion, protecting the cooling system from infection by bacteria, fungus and mold
- forms stable emulsions with water of different hardness levels
- does not contain chlorine, nitrites, phenols and secondary amines
