Description
BAC woven brake band:
BAC brake band is a band woven from ceramic yarn with very fine monofilaments. And also reinforced with brass wire. The wire is designed to provide mechanical reinforcement and heat removal from the working area during friction. A special multi-layered weave prevents the lining from delamination under the influence of high loads during braking. The impregnation of the belt woven in this way with a high-quality composition of natural and synthetic resins results in a reliable and very homogeneous friction material.
Application:
Asbestos-free woven brake band BAC is designed for use in heavy duty drum brakes. Where a significant braking force is required, where the temperature rises during operation. In places where high reliability of the friction material is required.
