Textolite manufacturing process
The material is a layered plastic obtained by pressing fabric and a polymer binder at high temperatures. The fabric is placed in specialized baths, where the process of impregnation with resins begins (40 ° C). After some time, the fabrics are wrung out and dried. When they dry, they are cut and sent under a hot press. This produces plates that are cooled under pressure until they harden. The finished material is lightweight and has high performance properties.

The material itself does not have a very long service life – 3 years, but products made from it are characterized by higher wear resistance than those made from metal.
