Brake bands and friction linings Gambit (Poland)
Molded friction linings are designed for use in disc brakes, cone brakes and other machines where high braking force is required, where high temperatures are present during operation and where high reliability of the friction material is required while at the same time insignificant wear of the interacting drum track. Also recommended for devices with significant braking frequency.
Available grades: GC-E; GC-MK.
BAC brake bands are a band woven from ceramic yarn with very fine monofilaments reinforced with brass wire. The wire is designed to provide mechanical reinforcement and remove heat from the working area during friction. Special multi-layer weaving prevents delamination of the lining under the influence of high loads during braking. Impregnation of the woven tape with a high-quality composition of natural and synthetic resins results in a reliable and very homogeneous friction material.

- BAC asbestos-free woven brake bands are intended for use in drum brakes of heavy vehicles, where significant braking force is required, where temperature increases during operation, and in places where high reliability of the friction material is required.
