Paronite and its benefits
Paronite is a multifunctional sealing, cushioning material for sealing fixed joints and protecting against aggressive environments. Its main advantages:
— High strength, elasticity and resilience. The material keeps its shape well and at the same time fills all the grooves, cracks, voids in the sealed joint.
— Temperature resistance (operation in the temperature range -60…+400 °C), resistance to strong and frequent temperature changes.
— Chemical resistance (used with aggressive media containing acids, alkalis, oils, gasolines). Only fluoroplast can compete with paronite in terms of chemical and heat resistance.
— When added to the composition of fungicides, paranite can be used in tropical conditions, with extreme heat and high humidity. It is resistant to fungi and rot-causing bacteria.
— Simple processing. Paronite is very soft, gaskets of the most complex shape and any size are cut from it (plates can be spliced to obtain large-area seals).
— Durability. Paronite seals serve for a long time, perfectly withstand difficult operating conditions. Their only disadvantage is the tendency to stick to the surfaces to be sealed (the problem is easily eliminated with a thin layer of graphite grease).
Application
Gaskets and packings are made from paranite for sealing fixed joints, including those operating in aggressive environments, high pressure and extreme temperatures. They are used in pumps, compressors, engines (including automobiles). It is a popular sealant for pipelines and valves. Industries in which paronite products are used:
— chemical and petrochemical industry;
— mechanical engineering;
— metallurgy;
— metalworking;
— electrical engineering;
— power energy, etc.
The following grades of paronite are available: AF-OIL; AF-153; AF-200; AF-300B; AF-1000; GRZ; Temafast; Temasil. Thickness of sheets from 0.3 to 5 mm.
