Description:
Technical potassium hydroxide is obtained by diaphragm electrolysis of a potassium chloride solution.

Application:
Potassium hydroxide is used in the production of fertilizers, synthetic rubber, plastics, electrolytes for batteries, reagents, xanthates, for leaching of steel castings, for maintaining the alkalinity of drilling fluids within specified limits, in the production of biodiesel fuel as a catalyst, used in the pharmaceutical industry and other industries national economy.
