Antifreeze blue

Blue antifreeze is a hybrid: this means that organic and silicate additives are mixed during the production of this liquid. The base is always ethylene glycol and a water base. Then hydrochloric acids and silicates are added to them, acting as additives. Basically, they act as corrosion inhibitors, which should protect the system from wear and rust formation. But there are also anti-foam options or additives that protect the rubber from corrosion. Such organic substances in blue antifreeze are:
– nitrites;
– nitrates;
– phosphates;
– borates;
– amines;
– carboxylic acid.

A balanced additive package ensures a good service life of antifreeze and its lubricating and protective properties. It prevents the motor from overheating or freezing and prevents the formation of deposits in the cooling system. The liquid cleans the tubes due to the carboxylic acid in the composition, and the remaining chemical components protect the structure from damage.
